<p>A U.S. woman accused of domestic violence, jumped to the neck of a judge, even during the process. Luckily the guards managed to immobilize before the was judge hurt.The young woman received a sentence of four months. </p>
<p>Melissa Hardwick uncontrolled output amazed even the security officers, who have seen such scenes only in records used during training. </p>
<p>&#8220;I work here three and a half years and this is the first time there is something so serious,&#8221; said Adam Dodson, a representative of the security forces. </p>
<p>The woman continued to resist even after security forces have immobilized her. </p>
<p>&#8220;He struggled a lot, trying to escape from the handcuffs and arrest, although just been placed under arrest. I had to use physical force as the dose required to stop her,&#8221; says Adam Dodson. </p>
<p>Melissa Hardwick was chosen with some cuts on his face and a much longer sentence than the first. She will spend 120 days behind bars for contempt of court, but also face charges of terrorist threats and intimidation.</p>

<p>By Ted Dawber &#8211; Americans blocked for 53 hours one of the most traveled roads in the country to demolish and rebuild a bridge. In the U.S., the project will mean a huge traffic jam. </p>
<p>Three months after warning that Americans had this weekend to avoid the artery 405, vital for trafficking in Los Angeles.</p>
<p>Their problem is not whether the road workers will succeed in only 53 hours to demolish and rebuild a bridge to widen the road with a band. Fear only what promises to be huge traffic jams after the closure of 16 km of highway. They named the project Carmageddon. Mayor Himself warned not to play with fire.</p>

<p>Also, Betty Ford was considered one of the most &#8220;visible&#8221; first ladies in American history. He died in California, at her home, with family, according to a family member.</p>
<p>&#8220;As first lady of our nation, was a strong advocate of women&#8217;s rights,&#8221; said President Barack Obama in the news. &#8220;After leaving the White House, Mrs. Ford has helped reduce the social stigma around addiction and alcohol and has inspired thousands of people to seek help. &#8221;</p>
<p>Ford won the battle with breast cancer, alcohol and drug addiction and wanted to bring these issues to public attention.</p>

<p>The U.S. authorities are on alert Montana State because of a leak occurring at a petroleum pipeline. A large amount of oil was poured into a river in the area, thus increasing the risk of pollution to spill into residential areas.</p>
<p>The locals are right next to the river were evacuated temporarily. Fortunately, the pipeline was stopped and response teams were able to limit the effects of pollution.</p>
<p>The situation in Montana State is under control now, the authorities have said.The pipeline was repaired and there are no damages in the area.</p>

<p>When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature&#8217;s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.</p>
<p>We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.&#8211;That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, &#8211;That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. </p>
<p>Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.&#8211;Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government. The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.</p>
<p>He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.</p>
<p>He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.</p>
<p>He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only. </p>
<p>He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures. </p>
<p>He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.</p>
<p>He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected; whereby the Legislative powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.</p>
<p>He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.</p>
<p>He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers.</p>
<p>He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.</p>
<p>He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.</p>
<p>He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.</p>
<p>He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil power.</p>
<p>He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:</p>
<p>For Quartering large bodies of armed troops among us:</p>
<p>For protecting them, by a mock Trial, from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States:</p>
<p>For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world:</p>
<p>For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent: </p>
<p>For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury:</p>
<p>For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences</p>
<p>For abolishing the free System of English Laws in a neighbouring Province, establishing therein an Arbitrary government, and enlarging its Boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule into these Colonies:</p>
<p>For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments:</p>
<p>For suspending our own Legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever.</p>
<p>He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us.</p>
<p>He has plundered our seas, ravaged our Coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people. </p>
<p>He is at this time transporting large Armies of foreign Mercenaries to compleat the works of death, desolation and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty &#038; perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation.</p>
<p>He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the high Seas to bear Arms against their Country, to become the executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands. </p>
<p>He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages, whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.</p>
<p>In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.</p>
<p>Nor have We been wanting in attentions to our Brittish brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here. </p>
<p>We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which, would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our Separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, Enemies in War, in Peace Friends.</p>
<p>We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. <p>By James Anderson -<strong> The Independence Day</strong> is also known as the <strong>Fourth of July</strong>, today isa federal holiday in the United States commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain. </p>
<p>The Independence Day is commonly associated with fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts, baseball games, family reunions, political speeches and ceremonies, in addition to various other public and private events celebrating the history, government, and traditions of the United States. Independence Day is the national day of the United States.</p>
<p>Independence Day is a national holiday marked by patriotic displays. Similar to other summer-themed events, Independence Day celebrations often take place outdoors. Independence Day is a federal holiday, so all non-essential federal institutions are closed on that day. Many politicians make it a point on this day to appear at a public event to praise the nation&#8217;s heritage, laws, history, society, and people.</p>
<p>While the official observance always falls on July 4th, participation levels may vary according to which day of the week the 4th falls on. If the holiday falls in the middle of the week, some fireworks displays and celebrations may take place during the weekend for convenience, again, varying by region.</p>
<p><strong>Independence Day</strong> fireworks are often accompanied by patriotic songs such as the national anthem &#8220;The Star-Spangled Banner&#8221;, &#8220;God Bless America&#8221;, &#8220;America the Beautiful&#8221;, &#8220;My Country, &#8216;Tis of Thee&#8221;, &#8220;This Land Is Your Land&#8221;, &#8220;Stars and Stripes Forever&#8221;, and, regionally, &#8220;Yankee Doodle&#8221; in northeastern states and &#8220;Dixie&#8221; in southern states. Some of the lyrics recall images of the Revolutionary War or the War of 1812.</p>

<p>The top nuclear weapons research facilities in the US will remain closed until Thursday as fire fighters battle a wildfire raging at its boundary.<br />
But only &#8220;essential-duties&#8221; staff at Los Alamos National Laboratory will be permitted on site on Wednesday.</p>
<p>The local officials at the New Mexico facility have said they detected &#8220;no off-site releases of contamination&#8221;.The town outside the laboratory in the state of New Mexico was evacuated on Monday as the fire raged nearby, informs BBC News.</p>
<p>The nuclear facilities faced &#8220;no immediate threat&#8221; but warned of damage to houses.And the lab, opened during World War II, led the development of the atomic bomb.</p>
<p>The Las Conchas fire had grown to 68 sq miles (176 sq km), burning through forests, canyons, and mesas, fuelled by dry timber and powered by strong winds.The local authorities warned it could triple in size in the coming days, the Albuquerque Journal reported.</p>
<p>On the lab employs is about 11,800 people, and about 12,000 people live in the town of Los Alamos.</p>
<p>And the southwestern US has been stricken by giant wildfires this year, with millions of acres scorched in New Mexico, Arizona and Texas.On the west of New Mexico, the largest wildfire in the history of the state of Arizona has been burning for nearly a month, informs Associated Press.</p>

<p>The governor of Illinois, Pat Quinn, lawmakers announced their intention to reverse its proposed cuts to programs for immigrants who live in the state. </p>
<p>According to statements issued by the Puerto Rican Senator William Delgado, the state ruler said that within his proposed budget cuts to ease the deficit close to 10 billion dollars in the next fiscal year will not touch the funding of services State Human. </p>
<p>In this regard, Joshua Hoyt, director of the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights, confirmed that the governor &#8220;has declined in its decision to reduce services for immigrants and refugees, pledging to restore the 74 percent cut scheduled for these programs. &#8221; </p>
<p>ICIRR held last week a protest outside the State Capitol in Springfield, the governor&#8217;s intention to cut $ 6.4 million in state funds for miscellaneous services for immigrants within the budget for next year fiscal, which begins in July. </p>
<p>According to the governor&#8217;s initial budget proposal Quinn, cuts are needed for a billion dollars in various programs to balance the high fiscal deficit including overdue accounts with service provider agencies. </p>
<p>In the case of the immigrant community the cuts, which have not yet announced how they will be replaced, including a lower support for childcare, English classes, care for the elderly and disabled, domestic violence, citizenship, among others, affecting some 470 519 thousand families, according to estimates by the coalition. </p>
<p>Senator Delgado said the governor&#8217;s intention to continue supporting the development of the immigrant community and proof, he said, is also signing this week of the 2011 Voting Rights Act. </p>
<p>Such legislation, he added, will ensure that the Latino, Asian and Muslim Illinois is not divided into several districts of the state, through the process of legislative redistricting. </p>
<p>The law was prompted by the Chinese community, with multiple divisions district to register their neighborhoods. However, protect immigrant communities in the redefinition to be followed in the coming months, based on 2010 Census results. </p>
<p>&#8216;The voice of the Latino community is being heard in Springfield, and we must continue fighting for the rights of immigrants to this great state, &#8220;said Delgado.</p>

<p>Thousands of Midwest residents are without power as a huge line of severe thunderstorms moves through the region.</p>
<p>The powerful winds and scattered tornadoes have downed power lines in parts of Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Missouri and Kentucky.</p>
<p>Because of the powerful storms, more than 40-thousand Duke Energy customers in Cincinnati, Ohio, are without power. </p>
<p>The ComEd crews are working to restore power to nearly 60-thousand customers in northern Illinois.</p>
<p>People from the  central Indiana are still waiting for their power to be restored.</p>
<p>In some areas like St. Louis, thousands of Ameren utility customers were left without power, which the company says could be restored by tonight.</p>
<p>Another powerful storm in Louisville, Kentucky, downed power lines, leaving hundreds of LG&#038;E customers in the dark.</p>
<p>The Wind gusts of 55 to 70 miles per hour are forecast through Wednesday from Ohio and Michigan west to Iowa, Minnesota and the Dakotas.</p>
