Las Vegas Police says: we treated Paris Hilton differently from other prisoners
Paris Hilton got out of jail in three hours after she was arrested for drug possession on 27 August, but The Las Vegas Police said in a statement they had no choice but to speed up the process, and it wasn’t so much a “special” treatment.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Deputy Chief Jim Dixon, said: “Yeah, she was treated differently so I don’t have a disruption of my process here at the county jail. When you bring in somebody like that, everybody comes over and tries to look at them. I’d have officers attempting to keep inmates away from her. I’d have disruptions.”
In just three hours of her arrest, though, Paris Hilton was booked and photographed just like all the other alleged criminals brought in.
Police stopped her car after they saw smoke coming out of it.The cops pulled them over and found small quantities of cocaine in the purse Paris Hilton was carrying.
Paris Hilton denied the purse was hers and said she thought the little baggie of drugs was gum, she posted a photo of the purse on her celebrity twitter account saying she was so excited to get it.Paris Hilton is set to appear on Las Vegas Justine of the Peace Joe Bonaventure in 27 October and could face up to four years jail.
