T.I. arrested for drug possession in Los Angeles

T.I. the best known rapper from LA has been released from jail after being arrested in Los Angeles for possessing drugs, police said Thursday.
The real name of T.I. is Clifford Harris Jr., 29 years old , he was arrested with his wife on Sunset Boulevard Wednesday night after police smelled marijuana coming from a car the Grammy award winning rapper was a passenger in, Deputy Luis Castro of The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.

Castro said, he was booked for possession of a controlled substance and was released from jail after posting bail of $10,000. His next court appearance was set for Friday.

Clifford Harris Jr. born in Atlanta rapper and a great actor has previously been in trouble with the law, including numerous arrests on drugs and weapons charges.But he was released from a halfway house five months ago after being sentenced to a year in prison on federal weapons charges.
