American music singer R. Kelly R & B 44-year-old reached the hospital, the emergency operation because of tonsils.

Spokesman singer R. Kelly, Allan Mayer told reporters that doctors at a hospital in Chicago have drained an abscess on one of tonsils musician. Although the operation proved a success, R. Kelly will remain “for an indefinite period” at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, doctors wanting to have it under surveillance.

The operation took place after R. Kelly complained last days of sore throat, and when he was transported to a hospital and a doctor examined the tonsils.

R. Kelly is known because of his albums, rap and R & B, and some famous duets such as with Celine Dion and P. Diddy. He also wrote for Michael Jackson song “You Are Not Alone” and the song “I Believe I Can Fly”, American artist was rewarded in 1998 with three Grammys.
