Medicine Lake resident Brandon French said he and five other residents were watching the tornado from afar on a hillside, and then got a call that a farm had been hit.

A 71 years old woman from a nearby property has been hospitalized, and was in “severe” condition and another tornado had been reported across the Canadian border in Saskatchewan about an hour and a half before, but there were no reports of injuries.

The tornadoes are rare in Montana, another one last month tore the roof off the state’s largest indoor sports arena, the Rimrock Auto Arena in Billings.

Defense Minister Gabriel Oprea has ordered a commission to the site to investigate the crash.The ministry said:”One Romanian service member and six Israelis were on board the helicopter”.

The crash site was in a remote area at an altitude of more than 2,000 meters (about 6,560 feet) in the mountains, according to the defense ministry. Fog was preventing helicopters from flying to the site Monday night.

The exercises were scheduled from July 18 till Thursday and they are aimed to train low altitude aircraft crews in search and rescue operations and medical evacuations.
The defense ministry said:”The CH-53 helicopter made an emergency landing July 18 after experiencing technical problems, and The problem was fixed, and it took off and landed safely”.

Company CFO Lewis Booth said the iconic SUV is coming to market just as Ford’s turnaround plans are gaining momentum.Just a few moments before he said it , a white 2011 Ford Explorer was driven over a mountain of dirt at Ford’s world headquarters in Dearborn.

Ford executives said today that the 2011 Explorer will get 30% better fuel efficiency than the outgoing model with a turbocharged EcoBoost engine and 25% better fuel economy with a standard V6 engine.

“I think we will sell three or four as many Explorers as we do now,” said Bob Faust, general manager of Jack Demmer Ford in Wayne. “It’s an all-new design No. 1, and Explorer has needed a new design for a while.”
